One of my cherished movie quotes resonates deeply with me: “Life is all about moments of impact and how they change our lives forever”. For me, entering medical school was such a pivotal moment. It not only fueled my ambition to excel as a physician but also instilled in me a profound sense of empathy for patients and their families. Early on, I found my calling in Internal Medicine, captivated by its diagnostic complexities and the holistic care it offers. I envision myself in a teaching hospital environment, aspiring to refine my skills while mentoring future generations of doctors. Perhaps it’s in my genes; with a lineage of educators – my mother and both grandmothers – I’m drawn to the dual roles of healer and teacher.
